About Pragmatic Leadership | Empowering Leaders in Technology

Aaron Wise is CTO & Principal at Digital Foundry, where he leads technology strategy and engineering for clients ranging from early-stage startups to established software companies.

He is a business-minded technology executive who uses automation, long-term planning and modern architecture to solve hard business problems. His work spans leading platform transformations and modernizations, building high-performing engineering teams, and designing scalable information architectures and secure, AI-backed platforms.

Aaron breaks down silos between business and engineering, applying proven management practices so teams can ship quickly without sacrificing quality or security. He holds an MBA and an MS in Information Assurance (MSIA).

Alongside client work he builds products at Digital Foundry. Actualis, an open-source tool, shows what coding agents actually ran. CirqleSync is live: every introduction lands in your CRM. Two more are incubating: DealRecord, for clearer investment decisions for fund managers, and Foundry OS, an analysis workspace for investment teams that traces every conclusion back to its evidence.
